Account & Relationship Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for allocated customers
- Grow and maintain long-term customer relationships
- Develop and maintain up-to-date account plans
Sales & Business Development
- Identify, canvass and secure new business opportunities
- Develop and manage a strong sales pipeline
- Own the full sales cycle — from opportunity identification to quoting and deal closure
- Respond to leads, referrals and sales enquiries in a timely manner
Customer & Internal Collaboration
- Work with customers to understand current and future needs, while constructively challenging the status quo
- Align internal specialist resources to opportunities and drive them to completion
- Collaborate with sales teams and business units across the organisation
- Liaise with technical and support teams on solution requirement
Operational & Vendor Engagement
- Prepare accurate quotes and proposals
- Ensure internal documentation is completed correctly to enable billing and invoicing
- Understand and follow vendor processes, including deal registrations and pricing enquiries
- Monitor, report and forecast on pipeline opportunities and sales activity
