Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, enhance, and maintain predictive and financial models supporting credit and capital decisions
• Review underperforming models and optimise or rebuild them to improve accuracy and efficiency
• Design and deliver advanced dashboards and analytics solutions using QlikView / Qlik Sense
• Analyse large datasets and translate insights into practical, business-focused recommendations
• Collaborate with stakeholders and clearly communicate analytical findings to support informed decisions

Job Experience and Skills Required:
Education:

• BSc / BCom / Honours in Data Science, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in data analytics, data science, actuarial, or quantitative modelling roles

Skills:

• Advanced QlikView / Qlik Sense expertise (essential)
• Strong experience building and enhancing predictive and financial models
• Proficiency in SQL and Python or R
• Ability to work independently, solve complex problems, and clearly articulate insights

Non-negotiables:

• Based in Cape Town with own reliable transport
