As a key member of the production team, you’ll busy yourself with a wide array of design and drafting activities. You`ll manage all communications regarding design and specifics of your projects, ensuring all stakeholders are on the same page. You’ll also create detailed construction drawings, measurement layouts, and preliminary sketches for various structures. Additionally, compiling bending schedules, ordering necessary steel, and confirming client and engineer approvals for designs will be part of your regular duties. You’ll be responsible for ensuring designs are meticulously entered into CAD software.
 
Candidates should have a strong background in AutoCAD and at least a year’s experience in a similar role (or knowledge and interest in the construction manufacturing environment), exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to handle high-pressure situations. A high level of numeracy, literacy, accuracy, and excellent interpersonal skills are also needed. Own transport essential.
