Job Summary
Hire Resolve`s Client is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Enrolled Nurse to join the medical team at a well-respected healthcare facility. In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients with various medical conditions, ensuring their comfort and well-being while adhering to established protocols and standards.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver patient-centered care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care plans.
- Monitor and record vital signs, and promptly report any changes in patient conditions to the Registered Nurse.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Assist with diagnostic procedures and provide support during examinations and treatments.
- Educate patients and their families regarding medications, treatments, and health maintenance.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient documentation in compliance with facility policies.
- Work collaboratively with the medical team to promote a safe and supportive environment.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety regulations at all times.
- Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and their families as needed.
- Participate in patient discharge planning and ensure smooth transitions to home or other care settings.
Requirements:
- Registered as an Enrolled Nurse with the South African Nursing Council.
- Diploma in Nursing or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience in a medical or general nursing unit is preferred.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of medical nursing practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle emergency situations calmly.
- Willingness to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is advantageous.
- Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus.
