Western Cape: Export Logistics Coordinator (Packhouse to Client)

Situated in Wolseley/Tulbagh area of the Western Cape, We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Export Logistics Coordinator to oversee all logistics functions from the packhouse through to delivery at international clients . The role is responsible for ensuring the accurate preparation of export documentation , timely container movements , and effective coordination with freight partners, shipping- and airlines, and export customers. This is a key operational role requiring precision, strong communication skills, and the ability to perform under pressure during peak export periods. Key Responsibilities Manage and coordinate all export shipments from the packhouse to international clients . Arrange and confirm container bookings, transport, and cold storage with shipping lines, airlines and logistics partners. Prepare and verify all export documentation , including commercial invoices, packing lists, shipping instructions, and phytosanitary certificates. Liaise with PPECB, DAFF, clearing agents, and freight forwarders to ensure full compliance with export regulations. Monitor loading schedules , temperature controls, and cold chain integrity from dispatch to port. Track shipments and provide clients and internal teams with regular status updates and shipment documentation . Maintain detailed shipment and documentation records for traceability and audits. Resolve logistics issues promptly to minimise delays or costs. Support the Marketing Manager with scheduling, reporting, and coordination during peak export windows. Qualifications & Experience Diploma or certificate in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Export Administration . Minimum 35 years experience in export logistics , ideally within the fresh produce or agri-export sector . Strong knowledge of export documentation , customs and port procedures , and cold chain management . Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general logistics systems.
