Job Summary
Hire Resolve is currently seeking a skilled Fleet Manager to join their team in Cape Town. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the company`s fleet of vehicles, ensuring that they are operating efficiently and in compliance with all regulations.
As a Fleet Manager, you will play a critical role in optimizing the use of the company`s vehicles and ensuring that they are well-maintained to minimize downtime and increase productivity.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the company`s fleet of vehicles
- Ensure that vehicles are properly maintained and serviced
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and regulations
- Optimize the use of vehicles to maximize productivity and minimize costs
- Monitor and track vehicle performance and maintenance records
- Manage and negotiate contracts with vehicle suppliers and service providers
- Supervise and train fleet personnel
- Prepare and analyze fleet performance reports
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in fleet management
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in fleet management or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair procedures
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and leadership abilities
- Proficiency in using fleet management software
- Valid driver`s license
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
