Western Cape: Graduate Actuarial Modelling Analyst (Remote) posted by Network Finance

• Build, refine and optimize actuarial and financial models for Life (and sometimes Non-Life) clients.
• Develop technical solutions using Python, R, SQL and actuarial modelling platforms.
• Support consulting projects across pricing, valuation, automation and model enhancement.
• Analyze data, design modelling structures and turn insights into actionable outputs.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• Degree in Actuarial Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics or another quantitative field.
• Strong academic performance.
• 0–2 years (graduates welcome).
• Any exposure to modelling, coding or actuarial tools is a bonus.
• Python and/or R (non-negotiable).
• SQL experience beneficial.
• Prophet or other actuarial modelling software is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and technical modelling ability.
• Genuine passion for modelling and solving technical problems.
• Able to work independently in a fully remote setup.
• High attention to detail and strong quantitative ability.
