Non- negotiable qualifications and experience required:

• Qualification: Matric.
• Hand tool experience (heat gun, glue gun, soldering iron, etc).
• Electronic, wiring, component knowledge.
• Soldering experience (small components, wiring).
• No colour blindness with 20/20 vision

Duties and responsibilities:

• Crimping of contacts to wires ensuring that crimping is done to correct standards.
• Inserting wires to connectors.
• Sleeving / harnessing of wires to form a loom adhering to set standards.
• Correct assembly of wires to form a loom using the relevant work specification (schematic, instructions, samples).
• Running wires using running lists.
• Routing cables on loom boards.
• Assisting with loom installation into product.
• Soldering of components where required.
• Using the heat gun to seal the looms.
• Ensuring that sleeve and or wires do not have nicks, breaks in them as this can result in sparks which may result in damage to wires, product.
