Job Summary
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to analyse market trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activities.
- Monitor and forecast market dynamics to identify growth opportunities.
- Design and execute surveys, focus groups, and interviews to understand consumer needs and behaviors.
- Develop consumer profiles and segmentation models.
- Gather data from various sources, including primary research, syndicated reports, and internal data.
- Use statistical tools and software for in-depth analysis.
- Compile comprehensive reports, presentations, and dashboards with research findings.
- Present insights and actionable recommendations to marketing, sales, and product development teams.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to align research with business goals.
- Collaborate with external research agencies when required.
- Provide actionable recommendations to optimize marketing strategies, product launches, and customer engagement efforts.
- Support pricing, packaging, and promotional decisions using data-driven insights.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Statistics, or related field.
- Proven experience (2–5 years) in market research, ideally in the FMCG sector.
- Familiarity with market research methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software and data visualization tools.
- Strong knowledge of survey platforms (e.g., SurveyMonkey).
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities.Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Strong understanding of the FMCG sector and its market dynamics.
- Awareness of global and local market trends.
