Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and creative New Product Developer to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be responsible for researching, conceptualizing, and developing innovative new products that meet market demands and drive growth for our organization.
Key
Responsibilities:
– Conduct market research to identify opportunities for new product development
– Work closely with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and specifications
– Generate ideas for new products and develop concept designs
– Create prototypes and conduct testing to ensure product feasibility and efficacy
– Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing partners to bring new products to market
– Analyze competitor products and industry trends to inform product development strategies
– Develop and maintain project timelines, budgets, and KPIs for new product initiatives
– Coordinate product launches and marketing campaigns to drive awareness and sales
Qualifications:
– Bachelor`s degree in product design, engineering, business, or related field
– 1y + Proven experience in new product development, preferably in a consumer goods or technology industry
– Strong project management skills and attention to detail
– Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities
– Proficiency in CAD software, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office
– Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials
– Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
