About the Role
M3 Human Capital Management is seeking a skilled Operations Controller to join their operations team in Paarl. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end operations for wine and perishable shipments, while working closely with internal teams, service providers, and clients in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and control end-to-end operations for wine and perishable shipments
- Coordinate clearing, forwarding, warehousing, and transport activities
- Monitor shipment progress, timelines, and operational documentation
- Ensure correct handling, storage, and movement of perishable goods
- Identify, manage, and resolve operational issues, delays, or discrepancies
- Maintain accurate operational records and reporting
- Liaise directly with clients, service providers, and internal stakeholders
- Support junior teams members where required
- All other tasks related to this role
Requirements
- 2-5 years experience in operations, logistics, or clearing and forwarding
- Previous experience working with wine products and exposure to perishable/cold chain logistics (advantageous)
- Experience with clearing and forwarding processes and documentation (advantageous)
