Western Cape: Operations Financial manager posted by Network Finance

Our client is part of a JSE-listed group in the retail sector with over 100 years of heritage.

They are looking for a highly skilled Finance Manager (Operations) to join this dynamic retail team. This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to play a key role in shaping financial strategies that drive business success.
 
Duties:

• Oversee and manage costs across multiple retail stores to ensure profitability
• Monitor and track store budgets, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Prepare and deliver detailed financial analysis and insightful reporting
• Develop and maintain accurate forecasting models to support business planning
• Manage operational expenditure (OPEX) effectively to optimize resources
• Align financial reporting with business strategies to enable data-driven decisions

 
Education and experience:

• BCom Accounting degree and CIMA qualification
• At least 5 years experience in a finance role within the retail industry
• Strong analytical, reporting, and forecasting capabilities
