REQUIREMENTS

  • Matric, relevant qualifications advantageous
  • 2+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, with a solid understanding of the end-to-end sales order process
  • High attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order processing, tracking, and client communications
  • Fast and Accurate data capturing skills
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing, production workflows, and order management processes
  • Good computer literacy
  • Able to multi-task effectively
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

 
DUTIES

  • Manage the full lifecycle of sales orders from initial receipt to completion, ensuring all steps are followed accurately and on time
  • Work closely with the sales and production teams to align order timelines with production schedules
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding order updates, delivery schedules, and any order-related inquiries
  • Provide exceptional customer service by proactively managing client expectations and resolving any issues that may arise during the production or delivery process
  • Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure the timely availability of materials required for each order
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate material requirements to avoid any delays in the production process
  • Oversee logistics and delivery arrangements to ensure that completed orders reach clients on time and in the expected condition
  • Collaborate with third-party logistics providers to optimise delivery schedules and troubleshoot any logistical challenges
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure that client requirements and quality standards are met in every order
  • Provide hands-on support as needed to facilitate smooth communication and workflow between the production floor and client-facing departments
  • General office management
