About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Sales Consultant to join our team at Time Personnel in Cape Town. As a key representative of our company, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers in the footwear, furniture, and timber-related sectors. Your primary objective will be to achieve agreed sales targets while promoting and selling sheet timber supplies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers in the footwear, furniture, and timber-related sectors
- Achieve agreed sales targets
- Promote and sell sheet timber supplies
- Identify new business opportunities and grow the company’s customer base
- Conduct regular site and customer visits
- Provide technical advice and product recommendations based on customer needs
- Prepare quotations, follow up on leads, and negotiate sales terms
- Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and product developments
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient service delivery
Requirements
- Matric or relevant qualification
- Own vehicle and valid drivers license
- Proven experience in outbound sales, ideally within the sheet timber supplies, machinery, or manufacturing industries
- Strong technical knowledge of wood types, applications, and processing
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently
- Willingness to travel extensively
- Background in Industrial Sales, Wood Technology, Manufacturing, or related fields
- Knowledge of the footwear manufacturing process and machinery is an advantage

- Matric or relevant qualification
