Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Production Operator to join our dynamic team. This role is responsible for executing assigned production operations in compliance with company Safety, Quality, and World Class Manufacturing (WCM) standards, ensuring efficient processes and high-quality output.
Key
Responsibilities:
- Perform assigned production tasks according to established safety and quality protocols.
- Ensure compliance with all WCM standards and procedures.
- Conduct quality control checks, maintain accurate records, and report any non-conformances.
- Monitor equipment functionality, reporting breakdowns or yield losses immediately.
- Adhere to strict housekeeping and occupational safety regulations.
- Uphold smooth shift handovers by communicating key production-related events.
- Support inventory control by monitoring scrap, documenting reasons for defects, and visualizing trends using QC data.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the production environment.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent certification.
- Minimum of 3 years` experience in a manufacturing or plant environment.
- Strong adherence to safety protocols and quality assurance standards.
- Ability to work effectively within a team-driven production environment.
