Job Summary
Job Vacancy: Quality Supervisor Ottery, Cape Town
We are seeking a skilled Quality Supervisor to join our Quality Team in Ottery, Cape Town. South African citizens are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in packaging or plastics and be passionate about ensuring quality and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the successful implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS), including audits and process reviews.
- Oversee incoming, process, and final product inspections for packaging or plastics, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and standards.
- Manage the Microbiological and Environmental Sampling plan.
- Take responsibility for the calibration and verification of measuring equipment.
- Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to influence and improve quality outcomes.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree (preferably in Quality, Engineering, or Packaging/Plastics Technology) or National Diploma in Food or Packaging Technology.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Quality Supervisor, ideally within the packaging or plastics industry.
- Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (e.g., BRCGS, ISO9001).
- Internal auditing experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to motivate and influence teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
