Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Planning Administrator to join our remote-first advisory business, a cross-border Financial Adviser authorised in the UK, South Africa, and the US. As the first hire into our distributed team, you will work closely with our Founder to support high-net-worth clients, managing administration, systems, and client execution across UK-regulated platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Core Administration & Operations: Provide end-to-end administrative support for a UK-focused financial planning practice
Client & Platform Support: Access and administer custodial and investment platforms (with trading permissions over time)
Execute fund switches, contributions, withdrawals, and portfolio-related instructions
Handle sensitive, confidential financial and personal client data with discretion and care
Act as a professional point of contact for high-net-worth clients when required
Work in close partnership with the Founder to proactively resolve issues, not merely process tasks
Identify process improvements and contribute to more efficient systems as the business grows

Requirements

Experience within a financial services environment (administration, operations, paraplanning, or similar)
Exposure to regulated environments, compliance processes, and detailed documentation
UK financial planning experience is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided

Qualifications

CFP designation or currently studying toward CFP
Financial Planning, Finance, Accounting, or related qualification (if applicable)

Salary & Benefits

R26 – 32 000 per month, negotiable.
