Job Summary
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:
- Be part of this well-established multidisciplinary consultancy and be part of a team preparing and delivering complex Revit / BIM models, and associated AutoCAD engineering drawings.
- Implementing and assisting in day-to-day BIM related workflows, to meet organisational objectives.
- Mentoring other staff on Revit/CAD related concepts and training
- The candidate will typically be responsible for the modelling and production of:
- Wet-services and drainage design Revit models, sheets, and AutoCAD drawings Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning systems (HVAC) design Revit models, sheets, and AutoCAD drawings
- Fire and Life safety design Revit models, sheets, and AutoCAD drawings
- Electrical
Day to day tasks:
- Work in a team with other engineering staff and report to engineering team leaders.
- Interact internally with fellow project team members to ensure a coordinated effort for project delivery.
- Checking drawings for quality and design defects.
- BIM Model setup
- Creation of Families
- Creation of Revit models and AutoCAD drawings based on project needs, produced to company and related industry standards.
- Liaising with external project coordinators with respect to BIM related issues
Qualifications &
Requirements:
- Mechanical engineering qualification / proven appropriate experience.
- 2-5 years of experience in MEP Building services Revit/BIM modelling.
- Multi-disciplinary MEP experience will be advantageous.
