Job Summary

Key

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and draft Annual Financial Statements using Draftworx
  • Conduct Independent Reviews and compile related reports
  • Perform detailed analysis and interpretation of Financial Statements
  • Provide support and guidance to junior clerks in resolving queries
  • Engage with existing and prospective clients through meetings and consultations

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

  • 46 years of proven experience in an accounting role
  • Relevant tertiary qualification (Honours degree is an added advantage)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (advanced level)
  • Working knowledge of Sage and Xero accounting systems
  • Familiarity with Draftworx software (beneficial)
  • Background in audit processes and procedures
  • Completion of SAICA/SAIPA articles (advantageous)

Working Conditions:

  • This is a full-time, office-based role with standard working hours from Monday to Friday.
  • The Senior Clerk primarily operates within an office setting and may occasionally be required to work outside of normal hours to meet deadlines, handle urgent issues, or support special projects.
