Your responsibilities will include overseeing immigration procedures, providing expert guidance to clients, and collaborating with a team of junior and senior specialists.

Responsibilities:

 

• Provide in-depth advice on all aspects of South African immigration law, including visa applications, residency permits, and compliance matters. 

• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their specific needs and delivering tailored immigration solutions. 

• Manage complex immigration cases from initiation to resolution, ensuring timely, accurate, and successful outcomes. 

• Stay informed on immigration law changes and regulatory compliances and ensure all processes and client advisories comply with current legal standards. 

• Mentor junior team members, offering guidance and fostering their professional growth and development. 

• Prepare, review, and maintain legal documents, reports, and correspondence related to immigration cases. 

• Act as a liaison with government authorities, legal entities, and other stakeholders on behalf of clients. 

Qualifications: 

• LLB or equivalent legal qualification, preferably with a specialization in immigration law. 

• Minimum 4 years of experience in South African immigration law, with a proven ability to handle complex cases and deliver high-level advisory services. 

• Strong understanding of South African immigration policies, procedures, and regulations. 

• Proficiency in English.  German (written and spoken) is highly advantageous; additional language skills are a plus. 

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities. 

• High attention to detail. 

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 

• Experience in managing and mentoring a team.
