About the Role
Quest Capital Solutions, a leading Rent-to-Own finance company for movable assets in the transport industry, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Storeman to join our workshop team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining the smooth operation of our warehouse, ensuring that all stock, parts, and consumables are accurately received, verified, and stored.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and verify incoming stock, parts, and consumables, recording all items accurately in the ERP system (Sage Intacct)
- Issue parts, tools, and materials to personnel, maintaining traceability and accountability
- Conduct routine and monthly stock takes, investigate variances, and report discrepancies
- Monitor stock levels and generate purchase requisitions to maintain critical spares and consumables
- Maintain an organized, clean, and secure store area, ensuring compliance with safety and housekeeping standards
- Assist with supplier deliveries, returns, urgent procurement, and support periodic audits
Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years experience in storekeeping or inventory control, preferably in a workshop or fleet environment
- Proficient in ERP systems (Sage Intacct, SAP, Syspro, Pastel Evolution, or similar)
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and record-keeping
- Basic knowledge of truck and trailer parts and consumables
- Computer literate (MS Excel, Word, ERP data entry)
