Job Summary
To support Operations Assistant in the efficient management of the storeroom by assisting with administrational, as well as logistical needs.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities and accountabilities
- Responsible for issuing of stock orders made by the different operational departments
- Responsible for the receiving and unpacking of new stock and updating the stock room inventory on the system
- Responsible for checking invoices of all delivered stock and confirming stock received matches invoices
- Ensure regular stock takes are completed, and the system stock database is maintained
- Ensure the stockroom is clean and kept tidy at all times
- Ensure that the consumable ordering and handout system is used and managed with all the operational personnel responsible for ordering and handing out consumables and equipment
- Ensure that sufficient stock levels are kept, to avoid running out and causing delays for site launches etc.
Requirements
- Matric / grade 12
- Must be computer literate
Employment will be implemented in accordance with the Employment Equity Act.
