Hire Resolve`s client in the civil construction industry is seeking surveyors/foremen to join their company in Wellington and contribute towards the company`s success in their civil projects.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor correct use of small plant and tools.
- Ensure correct application of plant and implements.
- Manage a team of construction workers and subcontractors
- Monitor progress and quality of work on construction sites
- Implement safety protocols and ensuring a safe working environment
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers
- Utilise surveying equipment such as total stations and GPS systems
- Providing accurate and detailed reports on project progress and data
- Plan material requirements according to weekly plan.
- Check and observe level and line during pipelaying.
- Check all benchmarks, survey beacons and existing connection points for accuracy
Requirements:
- Bachelor`s degree in Civil Engineering or related field is beneficial
- Proven experience as a surveyor and/or foreman in the civil construction industry
- Minimum of 3 years experience in the civil construction industry
- Proficient in surveying techniques and equipment
- Valid driver`s license – Code B
