Role Summary:
 
The Technical Planner is responsible for ensuring that all materials and resources needed for production are planned and scheduled to optimize the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the production process. This role involves close collaboration with managers and engineers to achieve production objectives.
 
Key

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage the production workflow.
• Assess and determine resources, equipment, and materials required for efficient production.
• Prepare and submit status and performance reports to track project progress.
• Collaborate with quality control, stores, and production teams.
• Initiate procurement and manufacturing processes in accordance with approved procedures.
• Conduct electrical planning as required.

Candidate

Requirements:

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management (or other relevant degree).

Experience:

• 5+ years in production planning, preferably within the aerospace industry.

Skills and Knowledge:

• Proficiency in Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) and ERP systems, ideally EPICOR or SAP (preferred).
• In-depth knowledge of production planning principles and quality control.
• Experience working with Engineering Bills of Material (EBOM) and Manufacturing Bills of Material (MBOM).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Must have own transport.

Non-Negotiable Skills:

• Advanced experience with MRP systems.
• Knowledge of quality control and production planning principles.
• Familiarity with engineering drawings and the ability to create MBOMs from EBOMs.
