Non- negotiable qualifications and experience required:

• Higher Certificate, National Diploma or equivalent (NQF 5 or 6) in Electrical studies.
• Previous experience in aviation preferred or other technical related experience.
• Own transport.
• Ensure that ground control stations are fully operational and capable of supporting critical missions and remote operations effectively.

Beneficial requirements:

• Strong problem-solving skills, basic understanding of hand tools, basic soldering skills.
• It may require occasional travel to field sites or operational locations for system installation, maintenance, or support.

Duties and responsibilities:

The Technician in Production for UCS plays a critical role in the building, maintenance, and optimization of ground control systems used for managing unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). This role involves hands-on technical support, ensuring that UCS hardware and software are installed, configured, and operating at peak performance.

• Physical Building up of the UCS System
• Integration and Testing
• Maintenance and Troubleshooting
• Documentation and Reporting
• Support and Training
• Compliance and safety
• System upgrades
