Job Summary
Technical Competencies and
Responsibilities:
Program and set up shade net knitting machines to meet design specifications. Read knitting machine catalogues and identify spare parts accurately. Ensure quality control on the knitting floor, maintaining or exceeding standards. Lead the mechanical maintenance team, including training new technicians. Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machines to ensure peak efficiency. Monitor machines to prevent mechanical restrictions affecting production. Perform preventative maintenance and update logs. Support production-related issues, including size changes and sample programming. Behavioral Competencies: Strong attention to detail, with the ability to perform fine adjustments. Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills. Excellent organizational capabilities. Leadership qualities to guide and motivate teams positively. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
