Witbank: Low Pressure service – Mechanical Engineer

Minimum requirements: To manage and maintain low-pressure mechanical systems including HVAC, compressed air, and water utilities, ensuring continuous plant operations and energy efficiency. Duties & Responsibilities Maintain HVAC, piping, and air/water systems.Design, commission, and optimize low-pressure service networks.Conduct fault-finding and implement energy-saving solutions.Manage contractors and maintenance teams on service-related projects.Ensure compliance with OHS and environmental regulations Desired Experience & Qualification Degree in Mechanical Engineering. ECSA registered (minimum 5 years post-registration) SAQA verified qualifications 10 years in low-pressure systems within industrial or manufacturing sectors. Knowledge of HVAC, air compression, and utility management. Strong understanding of mechanical system design Excellent planning and coordination skills.
