SEASONAL SPA THERAPIST (Fixed 2-month contract)
WORCESTER (Western-Cape) – South Africa
STARTING DATE: 01 December 2025 – 31 January 2025 (2 months)
REPORTS to: Spa Manager / CEO
EMPLOYMENT: Fixed term contract (2 months) option to extend full time based on performance
TRADING HOURS & SHIFTS:
- Monday – Sunday
- Shifts: 09:00am – 18:00am & 11:00am – 20:00pm (shifts rotate)
- 1x Weekend OFF per month + Days in the week (average of 8 days per month)
SALARY & COMPANY BENEFITS:
- R6,500 – R7,000 Basic per month (Based on experience)
- 10% Treatment Commission (from R1+)
- Retail Commission
- Incentives and performance bonuses
- Gratuities earned
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- CIDESCO / ITEC / SAAHSP / CIBTAC / City & Guilds / BABTAC or internationally recognized accreditation
- DIPLOMA Beauty Specialist / Health & Skin Care / Beauty Therapy / Somatology / Cosmetology
- Reliable transport for both shifts
- Fit and healthy to perform therapies back to back
- Confident retailer – this is essential
EXPERIENCE:
- Day Spa experience within a Hotel or Resort or independent day spa
- Cruise Ship OR international employment experience is advantageous
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPI):
- Confident and skilled in all standard SPA services (Body & Massage Therapy, Skin Care & Facials, Mani & Pedicure, Waxing)
- Ability to effectively prescribe relevant home care to clients accordingly
- Retail confident
- Confidently re-book clients where applicable
- Strong team dynamic, but able to work on your own without supervision
