About the Role
Hire Resolve is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Creditors Clerk to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in accounts payable and managing vendor relationships in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies
- Prepare payment schedules and issue payments to vendors
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records
- Monitor and manage vendor credit limits
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
- Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation
- Collaborate with the finance team on various ad hoc projects
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Creditors Clerk in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in accounting software, such as SAP or QuickBooks
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years experience as a Creditors Clerk in a manufacturing environment, High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in accounting or finance is a plus.
