About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and charismatic Lodge Manager to lead our intimate 5* Safari Camp in Zululand. As a seasoned hospitality professional, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences across all departments, ensuring seamless operations, and driving revenue growth. With a passion for luxury accommodations and a keen eye for detail, you will oversee the entire lodge experience, from front-of-house management to financial administration.

Key Responsibilities

Manage Front of House Hospitality Management & F&B (FOH & Kitchen)
Conduct Month End Stock Takes & continuous stock control
Handle Reservations/Reception Finance; Admin, Stock Controls & Stocktaking
Supervise and manage the housekeeping department
Communicate with HODs on bookings information
Maintain management of maintenance staff and tasks planned and unplanned

Requirements

Grade 12 Hospitality or Game Lodge Management qualification
At least 3-5 years previous work experience in management roles in related lodge environments
Management experience in luxury lodge environment
Strong focus on guest experience delivery from each department
Systematic and strong with protocols
Understanding of budget control and financial management and planning for the future of the lodge
Hands-on staff management and staff disciplinary process
Eye for detail and good all-around skills in all aspects of the lodge

Qualifications

Grade 12 Hospitality or Game Lodge Management qualification
At least 3-5 years previous work experience in management roles in related lodge environments
