Requirements:
- LLM or studying towards LLM in Maritime Law.
- Studying towards an Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers qualification (strong advantage).
- Minimum 3 years litigation experience, preferably Maritime Law.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
- Provide clear legal advice on complex legal matters.
- Act as Counsel on legal issues.
- Contact and liaise with clients.
- Research and analyse relevant regulatory requirements and translate into business solutions.
- Draft legal opinions, affidavits, pleadings and related Court documents.
- Build and maintain business relationships with clients and other stakeholders.
