Job Summary
Key
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental policies, procedures, and programs for electrical projects
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify and address potential hazards
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Investigate and report any incidents or accidents on site, and recommend corrective actions
- Provide safety training and education to employees and contractors
- Stay current on industry regulations and best practices related to electrical safety
- Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and participate in safety committees and forums
- Review and approve safety plans and risk assessments for electrical projects
Qualifications:
- Bachelor`s degree or Diploma in Health and Safety or related field
- Certified Health and Safety Professional (CHSP) or equivalent certification
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in health, safety, and environmental management in the electrical industry
- Strong knowledge of electrical safety regulations, codes, and standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven leadership and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
