Hire Resolve`s client, a leading financial technology company specializing in secure and efficient payment processing solutions, is currently seeking a Senior Full Stack .NET Developer to join their dynamic team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in both front-end and back-end development, with a focus on delivering high-quality, scalable solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and fix bugs in existing applications.

• Collaborate effectively within a team to ensure seamless development.

• Continuously develop improvements and new features.

• Work independently on features and components.

• Solve complex problems and troubleshoot technical issues.

• Lead and mentor junior developers, including conducting code reviews and training sessions.

• Take charge of design and architectural decisions for Full Stack applications.

• Drive best practices, enforce security standards, and improve performance across the stack.

• Work closely with product management and business teams to align technical solutions with business goals.

• Manage stakeholders and gather requirements efficiently.

• Participate in project planning and write comprehensive specification documents.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in software development.

• BCom IT or BTech Software Degree.

• Age range: 21 40.

• Bilingual proficiency in Afrikaans & English.

Technical Skills & Development Stack:

• Expertise in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and back-end development (C#, .NET Core, Web APIs).

• Strong knowledge of MVC (Model-View-Controller) architecture.

• Experience with REST APIs (both consuming and exposing them).

• Proficiency in databases, particularly Microsoft SQL Server, with the ability to write complex queries and optimize performance.

• Strong troubleshooting skills for complex production issues and performance optimization.

• Proficiency with frameworks like Entity Framework Core for ORM.

• Experience using version control systems like Git, with an understanding of branching and merging.

• Solid understanding of web frameworks and JavaScript libraries such as Bootstrap and jQuery.

• Strong understanding of cloud platforms, especially Microsoft Azure.

• Bonus points for knowledge and experience in:

  • Microsoft Azure

  • DevOps methodologies and tools
