You will offer practical legal guidance to clients, with responsibilities including: Estate Administration Managing the winding up of deceased estates, including obtaining Letters of Executorship, drafting liquidation and distribution accounts, and ensuring compliance with the Administration of Estates Act. Legal Compliance & Advisory Providing expert guidance on estate laws, tax implications, and inheritance matters, ensuring all legal requirements are met. Asset Distribution Facilitating the fair and lawful distribution of assets to beneficiaries, resolving disputes, and handling creditor claims. Drafting & Interpreting Wills Assisting with the interpretation of wills, ensuring the deceaseds wishes are honored, and handling intestate succession when no valid will exists. Liaison with Stakeholders Engaging with the Master of the High Court, financial institutions, SARS, and other relevant parties to finalize estate matters efficiently. REQUIREMENTS: Admitted Attorney with minimum 5 years` experience in deceased estates. The salary bracket for the role is around R35k – R45k CTC p/m.
