• Curate and manage a diverse and high-quality wine list, ensuring it aligns with the lodge’s dining experiences and guest preferences.
• Provide expert wine recommendations and pairings to enhance the overall dining experience for our guests.
• Conduct wine tastings and educational sessions for guests and staff, sharing your expertise and enthusiasm for wine.
• Maintain and organize the wine cellar, including inventory management, ordering, and ensuring proper storage conditions.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to develop wine-pairing menus and integrate wine selections with seasonal and special event offerings.
• Stay current with wine trends and industry developments to continually refine and elevate the wine program.
• Deliver exceptional service, addressing guest inquiries and ensuring a memorable dining experience.

Qualifications:

• Extensive knowledge of wines, including varietals, regions, and wine-making processes.
• Proven experience as a Sommelier in a high-end or luxury hospitality environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for guest service.
• Ability to educate and engage guests and staff about wine in an approachable and informative manner.
• Excellent organizational skills with experience in inventory management and procurement.
• Relevant certification or educational background in wine or hospitality.
