Job Summary
Requirements:
Trade skills in Mechanical or Electrical (certification or experience). Valid driver`s license essential. Experience with industrial equipment (preferred). Strong technical skills. Strong problem-solving skills. Must be prepared to be on rotational standby. Responsibilities, but not limited to: Provide accurate costing and quotations on work to be done. Provide timely and accurate input for client invoicing. Ensure installations/repairs are done properly and neatly. Present customers with innovative solutions to problems. Provide complete Customer / Prospect reporting to the relevant stakeholders in the agreed format / system, accurately and timely. Conduct preventative maintenance. Effect thorough inspections on machines and equipment. Ensure parts/equipment availability. Maintain a safe and clean workshop. Ensure control over and safekeeping of company tools and equipment. Complete accurate and timely travel logbooks. Conduct work planning. Compliance to Company policies & procedures and industry standards. Provide on the job training of Technician skills to co-employee(s) as requested by management.
