Job Summary
The French Speaking Guest Relations Manager will lead the guest relations team and oversee all aspects of guest services to ensure a memorable and seamless experience for our guests. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Guest Services Management:
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a warm and personalized experience.
- Address and resolve guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Coordinate with various departments to fulfill guest requests and special arrangements.
- Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements to enhance satisfaction.
Team Leadership:
- Supervise, train, and mentor the guest relations team to uphold the highest service standards.
- Schedule and manage staff to ensure adequate coverage and efficient operations.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages professional growth.
Communication and Coordination:
- Liaise between guests and hotel departments to ensure effective communication and service delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of guest interactions and preferences to personalize future stays.
- Prepare and present reports on guest feedback, service issues, and departmental performance.
Quality Assurance:
- Ensure all guest areas are maintained to the highest cleanliness and presentation standards.
- Implement and monitor guest service policies and procedures to maintain consistency and quality.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to continually enhance guest experiences.
Requirements:
Qualifications and Experience:
- Relevant qualification in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in guest relations within the hotel industry.
- Fluency in French and English; additional languages are a plus.
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional guest service and managing a team effectively.
Key Competencies:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations with grace.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Proficiency in hotel management software and MS Office Suite.
