This role offers deep insight into compliance, IT methodologies, and best practices within the group while ensuring data integrity and governance.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable Big Data pipelines using modern data platforms. Expert in mapping data flows within Azure Data Factory, ensuring seamless integration and transformation of structured and unstructured data. Act as a data custodian, ensuring data sharing aligns with information classification policies and access control measures. Utilize Python, Spark, SQL, and Kusto to develop efficient data processing solutions. Implement and optimize Azure Data Solutions, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Explorer, and Azure Databricks. Drive data engineering best practices with a strong foundation in data warehouse design and architecture. Apply DevOps, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies to streamline data workflows. Knowledge of advanced analytics and BI tools (e.g., Tableau) is a plus. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field focused on data-intensive applications. Proven experience in architecting and implementing scalable data pipelines in cloud environments. Expertise in managing Azure infrastructure components, including: Azure Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, ExpressRoute, Azure AD & AD Connect Operations Management Suite/Log Analytics, Azure Monitor, Azure Site Recovery Azure Backup, Azure App Services, Azure Storage, Azure SQL Server, MySQL Azure Automation and related tools Strong expertise in mapping data flows within Azure Data Factory, ensuring efficient data transformation and orchestration.
