Automotive Secretary – SummaryAssists the office manager by performing the following duties.Automotive Secretary – Essential DutiesTabulates and posts data in record books.Compiles records and reports.Computes flyer wages, and payments.Records orders for merchandise or service.Greets and assists visitors.Provides information to customers, claimants, employees and sales personnel.Prepares, quotations, invoices, and checks.Prepares stock inventory.Operates office machines such as computer, typewriter, adding machine, calculator and copier.Opens and routes incoming mail, answers correspondence and prepares outgoing mail.Maintains professional appearance and neat work area.Reconciliation on Supplier Invoices.Automotive Secretary – Mathematical SkillsAbility to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume.
