What is required:

Assisting Laundry Manager is based in the operation of the laundry department and ensures that the department is running effectively. The Assistant Laundry Manager will act as second in charge of laundry department reporting directly to the Laundry Manager. Ensuring that linen, towels and clothing is cleaned and treated to the company`s luxurious standard. The candidate will assist in supervising the department staff and act as the liaison between department staff and Laundry Manager. The candidate will assign duties and shifts when the laundry manager is off-site. The candidate will also assist in managing laundry equipment and ensuring that machines are in a safe, effective working order.

Minimum

• Grade 12 certificate
• Hospitality/Accommodation Diploma or similar
• Cape Town Based
• At least 5 years experience in a similar position in a luxurious environment
• Previous management/supervisory experience is compulsory
• Computer Savvy
