What You`ll Be Doing: As our Trade Credit Controller, you`ll be responsible for managing and optimizing our trade credit processes. Your key duties will include: – Credit Management: Assess and manage credit risk by evaluating customer creditworthiness and determining appropriate credit limits. – Accounts Receivable: Oversee the collections process, ensuring the timely receipt of payments and reducing outstanding debt. – Credit Control Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate credit reports to track outstanding balances, overdue accounts, and cash flow projections. – Customer Liaison: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to resolve any credit-related issues, negotiate payment terms, and address queries. – Cash Flow Management: Monitor and forecast cash flow related to trade credit, ensuring the firms financial stability. – Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts, investigate discrepancies, and ensure accurate records are maintained in line with internal policies and procedures. – Financial Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and company policies relating to credit management. – CMS Integration: Assist in the integration of Case Management Systems (CMS) to streamline credit control processes and improve overall efficiency. What Were Looking For: – Qualifications: A relevant qualification in finance, accounting, or a related field. – Experience: Proven experience in trade credit control, accounts receivable, or similar financial roles. – Bonus Points: Familiarity with CMS (Case Management Systems) will be highly advantageous. – Skills & Attributes: o Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail o Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software o Excellent communication and negotiation skills o Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines o A proactive approach to problem-solving and credit risk management
