Job Summary
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and review credit risk models for provisioning and regulatory capital requirements (IFRS9, scorecards, etc.).
- Assist in managing projects, including planning, execution, and quality control.
- Code and automate financial risk management models using Python, R, or SAS.
- Lead and mentor junior team members, fostering a coaching culture that encourages growth and innovation.
- Communicate complex quantitative concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: At least 5 years in a quantitative credit risk role.
- Strong knowledge of credit risk modelling, statistical techniques, and modern computing languages (Python, R, SAS).
- Proven experience in managing small workstreams and coaching junior staff.
- An Honours or Master’s degree in Quantitative Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent (FRM certification is advantageous).
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.

Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the credit risk assessment process for a diverse range of clients across various industries.
- Develop and implement comprehensive credit risk strategies to support business objectives and minimize exposure.
- Provide expert advice to senior leadership and clients on credit risk mitigation techniques and best practices.
- Analyze credit portfolios, identify trends, and recommend strategies for improved performance and risk management.
- Oversee the preparation of reports, presentations, and documentation for both internal and client-facing meetings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of credit risk management strategies.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in credit risk management, with a strong understanding of credit risk models and strategies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and client relationship management capabilities.
- A track record of successfully managing teams and projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Relevant qualifications, such as a degree in finance, economics, or related fields; professional certifications in risk management are a plus.
Technical Requirements:
- Strong proficiency in credit risk modeling, including the use of quantitative tools and techniques.
- Advanced knowledge of financial systems, credit scoring, and risk assessment tools (e.g., Moody’s, SAS, or similar platforms).
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, R, or Python).
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and industry standards related to credit risk management (e.g., Basel III, IFRS 9, or equivalent).
- Familiarity with stress testing, scenario analysis, and credit portfolio management techniques.
