Job Title: Procurement Manager
Location: Benoni, Johannesburg

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Manager to join our client`s team in Benoni, Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the procurement process, from sourcing suppliers to negotiating contracts and managing inventory.

Responsibilities:

– Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-efficiency and quality of goods and services
– Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and maintain relationships with key vendors
– Manage the procurement team to ensure smooth and efficient operations
– Monitor and analyze market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
– Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and prepare reports for senior management
– Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of procurement activities with company goals and objectives
– Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and regulations related to procurement

Requirements:

– Bachelor`s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
– Proven experience as a Procurement Manager or in a similar role
– Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers
– Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities
– Familiarity with procurement software and systems
– Highly organized and detail-oriented
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
