Job Summary
– Oversee asset protection of both people and staff as well as to prevent theft and inventory/ stock loss.
– Analyze and evaluate security operations to identify risks or opportunities for improvement.
– Supervising, recruiting & appointment of a Security Company.
– Staff training in security rules and procedures.
– Set and Manage budgets for security operations.
– Attend meetings, professional seminars, or conferences to keep abreast of changes in executive legislative directives or new technologies impacting security operation.
– Assist in emergency management and contingency planning.
– Prepare reports or make presentations on internal investigations, losses, or violations of regulations, policies and procedures.
– Communicate security status, updates, and actual or potential problems, using new and established protocols.
– Participate in site Investigations and report on findings.
– Develop work schedules, allocating tasks and monitoring staff performance.
Procedures and Processes:
– Create or implement security standards, policies, and procedures.
– Write and review security-related documents, such as incident reports, proposals, and tactical or strategic initiative.
– Respond to bomb threats, fire alarms, or intrusion alarms, following emergency response procedures.
– Recommend security procedures for access control.
– Identify, investigate, or resolve security breaches and coordinate appropriate response.
– Monitor and manage security policies, programs or procedures to ensure compliance with internal security policies, licensing requirements, or applicable government security requirements, policies, and directives.
– Conduct physical examinations of property to ensure compliance with security policies and regulations.
