As a Development Engineer, you`ll play a key role in the development of machines that will allow us to tap into an entirely new market segment. Youll be part of our Product Development team, where youll be responsible for creating the very first prototypes and guiding them through continuous improvement and optimization.

From our headquarters, youll collaborate closely with fellow engineers and colleagues from other departments to bring innovative, customer-specific solutions to life. Your work will be instrumental in setting the technological direction of our company and shaping our position in this new market.

Youll analyze market demands and customer needs, translate them into creative designs, and oversee the realization and implementation of the initial machines. From there, you`ll lead the charge in fine-tuning and enhancing the technology, ensuring it evolves to meet the challenges of this emerging segment.

Requirements

• A completed Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field;
• Several years of experience in machine building and/or product development;
• A creative and analytical mindset with a passion for innovation;
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, hands-on attitude;
• The ability to work independently as well as in a multidisciplinary team;
• Proficiency in Dutch/Afrikaans and English.
