Are you an experienced Pan Boiler with a strong background in sugar manufacturing operations? A leading player in the sugar production industry is seeking Pan Boilers to join their team at a production facility in the KwaZulu-Natal region.

Requirements:

• Matric with Maths and Science
• Completion of a Pan Boiler Certification Course (STC)
• 4+ years of experience in sugar manufacturing plant operations and control
• Knowledge of operating machinery and sugar production processes
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
• A commitment to safety and quality

Key Responsibilities:

• Boil various grades of massecuites in batch pans with minimal delays
• Maintain stock levels to achieve the planned mill crush rate
• Cycle pans effectively to prevent bottlenecks and achieve the required number of strikes per shift
• Monitor and adjust pan operations to ensure optimal production with minimal losses
• Conduct pan inspections and report defects for remedial action
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards and maintain high housekeeping standards
• Perform minor maintenance tasks and report any required changes or repairs
• Collaborate with the team to make informed decisions on pan floor operations
• Take ownership of section safety and housekeeping.
