Job Summary
Kendrick Recruitment is now seeking a Field Guide for a luxury private game reserve located in Hluhluwe, KwaZulu-Natal. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a passionate and professional guiding team, providing guests with unforgettable safari experiences in a spectacular natural setting.
Minimum Requirements:
-
FGASA NQF2 (Level 1) or higher qualification
-
Valid First Aid Certificate
-
Valid PDP and Drivers License
-
DEAT/THETA registered
-
Rifle handling and ARH certification (advantageous)
-
Excellent communication and guest interaction skills
-
Strong team player with a proactive, positive attitude
-
Physically fit and able to work in a demanding outdoor environment
-
Well-groomed and professional appearance
Key Responsibilities:
-
Conduct twice daily game drives and, if qualified, guided bush walks
-
Deliver informative, engaging, and safe safari experiences
-
Ensure vehicle and equipment maintenance is up to standard
-
Host guests during meals and throughout their stay, ensuring excellent guest relations
-
Communicate guest feedback and requests to relevant departments
-
Stay updated on wildlife sightings and ecological developments within the reserve
-
Contribute to a supportive and productive team environment
