Job Summary
The Bursary Administrator plays a crucial role in administering the bursary program on behalf of our various clients. This role involves overseeing the entire bursary process, from application and selection to disbursement and compliance. The Bursary Administrator ensures that the bursary program aligns with the organization’s (clients) goals and serves its intended purpose of supporting deserving individuals in their educational pursuits. The bursary manager will actively engage with stakeholders for the success of each program.
Key Performance Areas (KPA):
- Implementation of Bursary Management cycle including team Leadership, funds Management & Psychosocial Support
- Overall leadership and management of the TTI program delivery.
- Plan resource allocation for the academic operations of all programs within the school in collaboration with management and campus operations.
- Review academic results and implement appropriate strategies for “At risk” students and modules.
- Manage academic counseling and support to students within our cohort in collaboration with our psychosocial support team.
- Reports on disbursement of funds according to budget and the academic performance of the programs.
- Drive the implementation of clients’ bursary programs.
- Facilitate campus visits with our campus coordinators.
Requirements:
- A degree in office administration, Human Resource or Industrial and organisational psychology.
- Excellent organisational capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to analyse facts and devise successful tactics.
- Commitment to providing educational opportunities to deserving folks.
- South African youth between the ages of 18 and 34.
- Be currently unemployed
- Must not have participated on the YES Programme before
