Job Summary
About Us:
At Browns Jewellers, we pride ourselves on our rich heritage and our commitment to crafting exceptional, bespoke jewellery. Our workshop plays a key role in ensuring the high quality of our products, and we are looking for a skilled and organized Workshop Administrator to support the smooth running of our workshop operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the workshop team to ensure efficient day-to-day operations.
- Manage and track orders, ensuring all products move through the production process in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments for material procurement and delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, and production timelines.
- Assist in preparing reports on production performance and workshop output.
- Handle client queries related to workshop services and ensure excellent communication.
- Support the team with ad-hoc administrative tasks to help maintain workflow.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within a manufacturing or workshop environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience working with inventory management systems is a plus.
