Job Summary
Responsibilities:
Portfolio Management
-
Lead creation and execution of the IT Portfolio aligned with BU strategies.
-
Track value contribution and programme objectives.
-
Identify, mitigate, and report on IT programme risks.
-
Ensure seamless transition of projects to operations
Project Management
-
Prioritize, approve, and oversee feasibility studies.
-
Align projects with business strategy across units.
-
Direct programme delivery, timelines, budgets, and stakeholder reporting.
Risk & Compliance
-
Design contingency plans for IT and infrastructure.
-
Conduct audits, monitor recovery compliance, and mitigate technical risks.
-
Ensure governance and legal adherence in all project activities.
Work Planning & Delivery
-
Lead IT project portfolios, ensuring timely, on-budget delivery.
-
Develop business-focused work plans and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams.
People Leadership
-
Manage, coach, and develop frontline managers and teams.
-
Foster transformation through visible and values-driven leadership.
Financial Oversight
-
Collaborate on integrated reports including budgets, forecasts, and expenses.
Requirements:
IT/Business related Honours degree (Essential/Minimum).
Agile Practitioner Certification (Essential/Minimum).
Project Management Professional or alternative project management certifications.
In-depth knowledge of IT project delivery and methodology as well as IT infrastructure.
